Arkio 2.0 pricing and subscription plan updates

We haven’t updated our subscription plans and pricing since Arkio 1.0 went live four years ago. With Arkio 2.0 we are introducing many groundbreaking features like AI rendering, layers, collaborative frames, issue export and more, and in many ways, Arkio is now a very different product than it was four years ago. The 2.0 release blog post includes details about everything new in Arkio 2.0.

It’s now time to update our subscription plans and pricing, but Arkio will remain affordable and accessible to both consumers and professionals, as we want to see Arkio in the hands of as many people as possible. Our goal is to minimize any impact these changes may have on our existing customers.

First of all, if you’re already an Arkio subscriber, you will see no price increases for Arkio 2.0. The updated prices only apply to new subscriptions. If you were already a subscriber prior to the release of Arkio 2.0 and you do believe the price you’re being charged for your Arkio subscription has increased, please reach out to us at support@arkio.is.

The free plan is now named Starter, and, like before, enables anyone to try out the basics of Arkio and also to join a professional meeting with a Pro or Enterprise customer.

Changes to Arkio Plus

Some of the previously free features, like maps, sun studies, sections and visibility modes have been moved to the Plus plan. The Plus plan is intended for the many individuals using Arkio for home renovation projects, and the terms have been updated to reflect that the Plus plan is for non-commercial use only. If you purchased the legacy Plus plan prior to the release of Arkio 2.0 and have been using Arkio for commercial purposes, you may continue doing so.

Arkio Plus now includes voice transcription for notes and 100 monthly AI credits which can be used in Arkio to generate AI renders in a variety of different styles. Meetings are still unlimited in length on Plus but the number of meeting participants is now two instead of four, reflecting the non-commercial use of Arkio Plus. The import size limit in Arkio Plus is 100MB per file and the Unity plugin is now part of Arkio Pro. As some of these updates may impact Plus subscriber who purchased a license prior to Arkio 2.0 being available, all legacy Plus subscriptions purchased via our website have been upgraded to Arkio Pro subscriptions at no extra cost. If you purchased a Plus subscription on the Meta Quest or iOS app stores prior to the Arkio 2.0 release, please contact us at support@arkio.is and we will get you set up on a Pro plan at no extra cost.

Changes to Arkio Pro

Arkio Pro now includes 500 monthly AI credits and a host of new features like layers, presentation mode, issue export, view-only scene sharing and the new Archicad plugins for Windows and Mac. The Unity plugin is now part of the Pro plan, like the other professional plugins. The participant limit in meetings has been changed from 24 to six people for new Pro subscriptions. Legacy Pro subscriptions will however still be able to host meetings with up to 24 people. New Pro licenses are no longer floating licenses, but legacy Pro licenses purchased before the 2.0 release will remain floating as before.

Changes to Arkio Enterprise

The Arkio Enterprise plan is designed for teams and large organizations that require more flexibility and additional support. Arkio Enterprise licenses are floating licenses and with Arkio 2.0 each license now includes 1000 AI credits per floating license to generate stunning AI renders.
