Arkio 2.0 pricing and subscription plan updates

We haven’t updated our subscription plans and pricing since Arkio 1.0 went live five years ago. With Arkio 2.0, we introduced many groundbreaking features, such as AI rendering, layers, collaborative frames, issue export, and more, and in many ways, Arkio is now a very different product than it was four years ago. The 2.0 release blog post includes details about everything new in Arkio 2.0.
It’s now time to update our subscription plans and pricing, but Arkio will remain affordable and accessible to both consumers and professionals, as we want to see Arkio in the hands of as many people as possible. Our goal is to minimize any impact these changes may have on our existing customers.
First of all, if you’re already an Arkio subscriber, you will see no price increase for Arkio 2.0. The updated prices only apply to new subscriptions. If you were a subscriber before the release of Arkio 2.0 and believe the price of your Arkio subscription has increased, please reach out to us at support@arkio.is.
The free plan is now called Starter and, as before, lets anyone try out the basics of Arkio non-commercially and join professional meetings as a viewer with a Pro or Enterprise user of Arkio.
Arkio 2.2 updates
With Arkio 2.2, we introduced a simpler pricing model. We lowered the price of Arkio Pro to bring the power of Pro to more people, removing the Plus plan and making the free Starter plan more capable by adding support for large 3D models in OBJ and GLB formats and unlimited one-on-one meetings. At the same time, Arkio Pro and Enterprise are becoming even more powerful, with simplified plugin workflows, larger meeting sizes, greater control, and advanced features such as movable components.
Changes to Arkio Plus (legacy)
The Plus plan was intended for the many individuals using Arkio for home renovation projects and for non-commercial use only. If you purchased the legacy Plus plan prior to the release of Arkio 2.0 and have been using Arkio for commercial purposes, you may continue doing so.
The Plus plan is no longer being sold after 2.2, as we made the free version of Arkio more capable of handling large model imports and one-on-one meetings. All legacy Plus subscriptions purchased via our website have been upgraded to Arkio Pro subscriptions at no extra cost. If you purchased a Plus subscription on the Meta Quest or iOS app stores prior to Arkio 2.2, please contact us at support@arkio.is, and we will get you set up on a Pro plan at no extra cost.
Changes to Arkio Pro
Arkio Pro now includes 500 monthly AI credits and a host of new features, including layers, presentation mode, issue export, view-only scene sharing, and new Archicad plugins for Windows and Mac. The Unity plugin is now part of the Pro plan, like the other professional plugins. The participant limit for meetings has been changed from 24 to 6 for new Pro subscriptions. Legacy Pro subscriptions will, however, still be able to host meetings with up to 24 people. New Pro licenses are no longer floating licenses, but legacy Pro licenses purchased before the 2.0 release will remain floating as before.
Changes to Arkio Enterprise
The Arkio Enterprise plan is designed for teams and large organizations that require more flexibility and additional support. Arkio Enterprise licenses are floating licenses, and with Arkio 2.0, each license now includes 1000 AI credits per floating license to generate stunning AI renders.
Visit the Arkio pricing page for an overview of the Starter, Plus, Pro and Enterprise plans and the updated pricing. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us at support@arkio.is, and we will be happy to assist you. After all, you, our users, are the reason why we’re doing this. We look forward to continuing on this journey with you!
