Frames

Any image or AI render can be converted into a frame to be placed within the 3D Arkio scene. Once in the scene, these frames can be used like collaborative 3D tracing paper; you can move them like any Arkio object and add notes or sketches on top to brainstorm or document issues.

Frames can be edited by anyone who joins your Arkio meeting or receives your Arkio scenes, whether theyโre using a Meta Quest, an iPad or other devices. Making these frames great surfaces for collaboration and ideation.

Any normal or AI-enhanced photo can be placed in the scene from the AI camera gallery (frame + icon). This will position the frame in the scene aligned with the original snapshot location. Other users in the meeting will download this image directly to their devices and view the normal or AI-enhanced Arkio photo that the other meeting editors placed, allowing them to collaborate on these surfaces.

Users can utilize the Sketch tool and notes on these frames to mock up comments or suggestions for others to view. They can also update the frame position or present design ideas, which may include simple sketches, AI renders, or full presentation slides with detailed drawings and comments for everyone to see.

Multiple frames can be placed side by side to compare options or suggestions together. You can also place imported images on these frames to present other 2D references, and you can manage the frames in your project by moving them around or deleting them.

You can jump between all the frames in your scene from the Review panel, which also lists your viewpoints and Notes in the scenes. When users jump to the saved frame from the view panel, their VR and non-VR devices will be aligned to the approximate location where the frame was taken. When the host presents or gathers users, it will position all other users in the meeting near these frames so everyone can see the suggestions and collaborate.
