Arkio runs slowly on my device

Arkio's performance threshold is determined by the amount of processing power available on your device. If you are running Arkio on a mobile phone or a standalone headset, operations can go wrong, especially when large amounts of geometry are shown in the scene or there is an error or misconfiguration on your device.

Slow performance in Arkio is often caused by viewing too large scenes or an imported 3D model.

The following steps you can follow to troubleshoot and fix performance issues:

  • Restart your device

  • Load a new empty Arkio scene

  • Connect to a different Internet source and try out the app

  • Clear and re-import the loaded resources on your device Access and clear user files

  • Uninstall and reinstall Arkio (make a backup of your scenes or upload them to the Arkio Cloud portal as this will remove your existing user files)
