Install Arkio on your devices

Download Arkio for free at arkio.is/download or get it from the various App Stores. Our Windows Installer includes our plugins for Archicad, Revit, Sketchup, Rhino and Navisworks.

Start Arkio

The best way to learn how to use Arkio is by opening the demo scenes that take you through the basics from Start > Tutorial Scenes, or watch our in-app tutorials.

Switch scenes

You can switch between your saved scenes and access your imports and exports tabs using Arkio's file browser.

Import and share models between devices

Step 1 - Plugin

Use our Windows plugin for Archicad, Rhino, Revit, SketchUp or Navisworks to export your model to Arkio.

Step 2 - Place the model

Arkio for Windows will open with the import panel open. After processing, this import can be placed in the current scene or a new scene. (Clicking anywhere in the scene with the import panel open will place it manually)

Step 3 - Share it with other devices

The scene with imported files can now be shared with other Arkio devices using a Meeting. New imports can also be synchronized with other devices by connecting to the same Arkio Cloud, or by sharing your scenes via a URL

Learn more

You can learn more about Arkio in our in-app tutorials, sample models, and other support pages. Here are some examples of use cases:

Present

The meeting Host can invite up to 24 free viewers to a meeting, switch scenes, gather users, and use presentation mode to organize the meeting. Using XR headsets, you can let users experience your models at scale and overlay them on the real world using Mixed Reality with colocation.

Review

You can import large models into Arkio on any device, save views, add voice-transcribed Notes, and AI renders. Collaborate on 2D Frames using sketches, share your scenes, export your 3D geometry, and Notes as a URL.

Ideate

Modeling in Arkio feels like working with scale models that snap and glue like physical building blocks. The best way to experience this is by interacting with your models using an XR headset. You can collaborate with multiple users in real-time. After ideas are validated on a 1:1 scale, you can export your work back as native CAD/BIM tools using our Bi-directional plugins.
